Up To Date with Ethan Callender Entry 3: Good Ol' Uncle Joe

Up To Date With Ethan Callender Entry 3: Good Ol’ Uncle Joe Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the past three months, you’ll know that it is damn near certain that the Democratic nominee for President will be Joe Biden. He will be running to win the highest office in the land at the expense of President Trump. As you can see, both of these candidates have a lot in common. They’re both white men over 70 who have valid doubts raised against them about their mental fortitude and competence. However, one of them has previous experience, a decent track record, and isn’t a narcissistic man-baby with sociopathic tendencies. No points for guessing who. So, let’s go over Biden’s track record, both good and bad. To begin, let’s go over what hasn’t aged very well . For one, opposing school desegregation through busing in the 70s was unfortunate, as children throughout the nation, privileged or not, live with the consequences of that decision to this day. Up To Date With Ethan Callender Entry 2: Rights and Wrongs

Up To Date With Ethan Callender Entry 2: Rights and Wrongs Welcome back to Up To Date with Ethan Callender! Today, we begin with somber news, as civil rights icon and Congressman John Lewis is dead. He had been a battler for almost his whole life, but pancreatic cancer is what proved too much to overcome. The battles he fought in previously were numerous and noble, including sit-ins protesting segregation, the March on Washington, and the Selma march. If you came here for social spit takes, that’s also great! If you came to read serious descriptions of the news, you’re s*** out of luck. The news is real, sure, but our team aims to deliver it in the most humorous way possible. But that’s enough about me. It’s time to get started. COVID-19 has been raging around the world for all of 2020 up to this point. However, the worst effects have been felt in the United States. Over a hundred thousand Americans are dead from this virus, with millions of survivors as well. However, even some of them are permanently damaged in various organs, such as the heart and the lungs. With all this going on, you think Americans would come together, put aside their differences, and not be partisan and über-political for once. That didn’t happen. America made a global pandemic a political squabble...
